American Gladiators Are Back!

According to Variety:

NBC is getting into the ring with "American Gladiators," which has been revived by the Peacock for midseason.
The competition skein -- which featured players with names like Nitro, Turbo and Laser in its campy, early '90s syndie incarnation -- will be updated for the 21st century with new technology and twists. MGM TV, which was behind the original hit, is producing along with Reveille.
We here at Pariah have our opinions about this show since it was part of our youth. Nitro? Yeah! Tower? Yes! Laser? YES! Turbo? HELL YES!!!

I know people are talking about the impeding disastrous TV show based on the Geico Cavemen but the only Caveman that I’m interested in will be taking the screen next March in 10,000 BC in the form of a 6’2” hunk of gorgeous named Steven Strait. After turning heads as bad boy Warren Peace in Sky High and starring in the Abercrombie revisioning of The Craft that was The Covenant, Steven’s next movie will be set in the time of animal skin loin cloths. Jordin Sparks Sells Some More of Her Soul!

It appears that after Clive Davis couldn't break Kelly Clarkson he has decided to throw his support behind puppet... I meant Idol Winner Jordin Sparks.

UsMagazine.com reports the 17-year-old Jordin Sparks signed a deal with Jive Records. Clive told the mag "Jordin is a terrific young singer who has found a great home at Jive. [They] know how to patiently nurture career artists, and Jordin Sparks hints of a legacy and longevity waiting to be fulfilled."

Her first single, something called "Tattoo," hits shelves August 27.

Pariah has had a crush on Jeffery Donovan since he lost his mind in the sequel to the Blair Witch project. I still say Book of Shadows was better than the original but then I never got the hype about the first one. I have been camping many times and the woods are creepy but I’m not gonna lose my mind. Just turn 180 degrees and walk back the way you came. Damn! Uhm… Sorry. Back to the hotness! Jeffery Donovan is a 6’ hunk of stud with something other studs lack…brains. You don’t get comic timing like Donovan’s without being quick witted. His chemistry with Gabrielle Anwar in USA’s Burn Notice is steamier than a rainy New Orleans summer and his ability to hold the screen with hysterical scene stealers like Sharon Gless an Bruce Campbell makes me ask the question…Why isn’t this gorgeous man an A list movie star?
